Alberta continues to prioritize sectors such as healthcare, technology, construction, manufacturing, aviation, and agriculture.
International Experience Canada and Permanent Residence
Candidates who received an Invitation to Apply can continue their work permit applications within their applicable deadlines.
Candidates who did not receive an invitation will generally need to create a new profile when the 2027 season opens.
Major Express Entry CRS Changes Effective November 3, 2026
The new Labour Market Integration factor will award additional CRS points for eligible Canadian work experience and qualifying job offers in high-wage occupations.
